Anthony T. (Tony) Smith
is an attorney with Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC and concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, and insurance disputes. 

Smith primarily represents individuals and business entities involved in construction disputes and commercial disputes.  He is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Minnesota, and has represented clients at all stages of litigation.

Smith is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and a frequent speaker at seminars on construction litigation related issues.

He was named a "Rising Star" in the legal profession by Minnesota Law & Politics in 2007 and 2008. 

Smith obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota in 2001.  He graduated summa cum laude from Hamline University with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology in 1997.
