Shari A. Jacobus
is an attorney with Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC and concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law, representing homeowners with construction defect claims.

Her extensive criminal law background includes eight years as a prosecuting attorney for the cities of Roseville, Vadnais Heights, North St. Paul, and White Bear Township. In that capacity, she was responsible for the successful litigation of literally thousands of cases brought on behalf of the people of the communities in which she served.

Jacobus is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in Minnesota. She is a member of the Ramsey County and Minnesota State Bar Associations. In 2004, Jacobus was named a "Rising Star" in the legal profession by Minnesota Law & Politics.

Jacobus obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating cum laude. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with honors, obtaining Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology, where she was also a member of the National Honors Society in Psychology.
